Liberty vs Target (like DMC vs Jason Nevins)

It’s like that . . . cos that’s the way it is.

The current issue of Elle Decoration has lots of stuff in it about the new Liberty/Target collaboration. It isn’t yet online or instore but their collaboration with French label Merci is.

Read about it here.

If I was to miss and get nostalgic about one London store, Liberty would be that store. On the rare occasions that I came to London as a child, Liberty was always on the agenda for the day. I think it was always my sister that ended up with clothes made from their fabrics rather than me . . . which may retrospectively be a good thing.

They are also promoting a Liberty/V&A quilt collaboration. The first patchwork quilt that I ever made featured Liberty quite heavily (padded out with cheaper fabric from A1 fabrics in Shepherds Bush).
